SwingTRACK: Skeleton Tracking

Skeletal tracking, an advanced computer vision technology, pinpoints and analyzes joint movements during various activities. At tsukat, we initially refined and customized this technology for our client, Volmosys, tailoring it specifically to enhance the golf experience.

SwingTRACK is developed using computer vision software libraries, profound object detection systems, and tools such as MediaPipe, Ceres Solver, and Unity. This app is designed for professional golfers, coaches, and enthusiasts, providing detailed performance metrics and skeletal visualizations that help users improve their movements.

The application analyzes recorded motion to provide insights into knee, shoulder, hip, and arm angles, overall movement patterns, and force application. Notably, it does this without needing physical markers on the user, relying only on cameras set up at three different angles. These can be either GoPro or Basler cameras.

This cost-effective and user-friendly approach makes it easier for athletes to use technology without specialized equipment. It is also adaptable for sports like baseball and cricket, among others. In addition, our engineers have extensive experience developing ball-tracking technology for clients requiring precise tracking capabilities.

Key Features of Skeletal Tracking:

  • Detailed Performance Metrics: Gain insights into joint angles, movement patterns, and force application.
  • Skeletal Visualizations: Visualize joint movements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Consistent Progress Tracking: Track your progress over time by comparing your swings across multiple sessions.

Whether you are an athlete or a coach, our technology offers a detailed movement analysis to help optimize performance. Want to learn more about this technology? Reach out to us through the contact form.
